This cottage was built in many stages over 75 years and had 7’4” ceiling heights throughout with entire home. There were two tiny bedrooms, not enough storage space and obsolete mechanical systems, bathroom and kitchen. The ceilings throughout the house were raised to 9 feet. The two bedrooms were combined to become a master suite with a deck. The house has been upgraded to meet the energy code, the windows and doors have changed locations to maximize the views and sunlight. The new addition features a timber framed 3 season room and an entry mudroom with a lot of built in storage.

This almost 200 year old house and barn is under-going major renovations to accommodate a growing young family. The post and beam barn has been taken down and the hardwood timbers salvaged for re-construction into a new living space including bedroom, kitchen, dining & living room, bathroom and entry to the existing single family home.
