The final design accomplished accessibility design issues which included renovating the entire home and adding a beautiful new living room with a cathedral ceiling, dining area, office, entry, all season porch and garage with work shop.

Lake Raponda, VT

Don Simms collaborated with the owner's architect in renovating their existing Vermont lake house. A new second floor addition, two car garage, new kitchen, bathrooms and interior renovations were completed while keeping the integrity of the rustic charm of this unique home.

Parker Street, Northfield, MA

This 1900’s Northfield, MA traditional home was vacant for over two years. You could literally look outside from the inside through cracks and structural damage. The home was completely renovated with the goal of keeping the traditional character of the home, while addressing energy efficiency and modern functional utility.

Franklin County, MA

Don Simms Design Build and the owner - artist collaborated on this contemporay design which changed a simple ranch home into a two story cottage with exposed rafter tails and timber beam components.

Lake House, Vermont

Don Simms designed this lake house addition which included extensive renovation’s including a new master bedroom suite, master bath and new efficient mechanical systems. The house has fantastic views of a classic Vermont lake.
